Across the UK, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Malawi and Zimbabwe, the Act4Africa family is working to stop the relentless spread of HIV/AIDs in its tracks - by fundraising, doing fantastic sponsored events, joining our teams on the ground through our expeditions, doing a medical elective, attending a charity gig or helping out in another way.
Whatever you do, whoever you are, EVERYONE can be part of the solution to this mammoth problem. If you want to find out more, you can read the Act4Africa story here, or you can check out all the articles in our Factfile here!

Act4Africa is a health education charity which delivers HIV and AIDs Education and Behavioural Change Programmes in an effort to arrest the AIDS pandemic which is threatening a whole continent.
Our goal is:
- To deliver interactive HIV & AIDS Prevention Education Programmes, primarily using performance arts and sports. Also, to challenge cultural behaviours, provide love and comfort to those impacted by AIDS and reduce the threat of HIV & AIDS in Africa
Our four core objectives are...
- To enable community leaders, teachers, army staff and church leaders to lead their own communities through the AIDS pandemic through AIDS prevention education and the delivery of "Train the Trainer" programmes
- To train and fund local teams in Africa to enable them to continue to deliver the HIV prevention programmes in the absence of the UK teams
- To offer comfort, support, and share the love of Christ with those for whom education has come too late, thereby helping to break down the stigma of HIV & AIDS.
- To train UK teams to deliver interactive HIV & AIDS education programmes to young people in Africa through the use of interactive workshops
