Sale and District Lions and Act4Africa

are both charitable organisations, based in South Manchester UK, but they work in very different places. Click on the links above to see where and how!

This year, your Scarecrow Safari entry donation will go towards helping children and their families who are living in poverty cope with the effects of COVID-19, both here and in Uganda.

In Greater Manchester and Uganda

Your money will help ensure the most disadvantaged children have access to the basic things they need, to keep up with their school work, whilst the COVID-19 restrictions are in place and thereafter.

Even on our doorstep, there are children that don’t have paper or pens at home, let alone access to the internet. Your money will help provide the things they need to work and play, safely, and keep up with their peers.

In Uganda, as well as your money helping 3-6 year olds and girls of all ages stay ahead with their education, it will also help provide life-saving public health information to rural communities, helping them protect themselves from COVID-19.
