MILES THAT MATTER
1st-30th November, 2025
Join us in walking, running, cycling, or even swimming 25 miles to help raise funds for our vital projects in Uganda. You can take part anywhere in the world and at any time in the month of November. You can even do this on an exercise bike or treadmill. To register and for full details, follow the link below. You will be asked to pay a £10 entry fee and to commit to raising £50 alongside aiming to complete the 25 miles. Be a part of the change to women and girls’ lives in Africa.

Abbey, our very own Act4Africa volunteer is once again partnering with Barb from ACT International to host their third concert fundraiser of the year, the much-anticipated Big Sleaford Christmas Party!
The evening promises unforgettable entertainment, with West End star Hugh Maynard performing a vibrant mix of festive tunes and his all-time favourites — live on stage. Guests can look forward to a night filled with music, dancing, and plenty of Christmas cheer.
This event is more than just a celebration — it’s a chance to make a difference. All funds raised will directly support Act4Africa and ACT International, helping us continue our mission of transforming lives and communities. Mark your calendars, spread the word, and come join us. THE BIG GIVE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE
2nd-9th December, 2025
We’re thrilled to announce that Act4Africa will once again take part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge for 2025! During the week of this challenge, every donation you make will be DOUBLED, helping us support children in Uganda with education, health, and brighter futures.
The donation link will go live on December 2nd, so stay tuned for updates and ways to get involved. Together, we can make this festive season truly meaningful — every pound you give will go twice as far!
EVENTS
Organise an event yourself or simply participate in an organised event. We are a small charity so we don’t have the funding to secure places as an official sponsor, but you can still raise funds for Act4Africa. We’ve had great success with participants in the Great Run Series and many other similar events. We’ve also had great support from volunteers collecting small change by bucket from events like Goodwood and Glastonbury.
SCHOOLS & COMMUNITIES
Support us learning or doing something you love. Dance is an important part of who we are so we work a lot with dance schools, but we also work with a variety of organisations regardless of their size – choirs, running and swimming clubs, and various schools. You can even get in touch and we will try to visit your primary or secondary education school to provide more information and share a fundraising pack.
