Act4Africa Dance Workshop

Professional dance workshops by Movema artists who have used dance to strengthen many communities and provide life changing experiences.

The workshop will include first 15 minutes of informal performance from the artists and then a 45 minute workshop.

There will also be Indian snack stall plus numerous other small business stalls.

All proceeds will go towards our Strong Mothers Programme which provides mental well-being , sexual, reproductive and maternal health support sessions, plus vocational and enterprise training to mothers aged 14-24 in Mayuge, Uganda which has one of the highest rates of teenage pregnancies’ through rape or lack of reproductive health knowledge. These young mothers are outcast by society and lacking in education, they live in extreme poverty and are at high risk of sexual exploitations and HIV/AIDS.
