We’ve won an award!

This month saw us recognised with a USAid award for our contribution to family health via our Mayuge District-based Strides project. The Strides project, completed in 2012, was designed to help young people through improved access to sexual and reproductive health services and information. In all, over 23,000 young people benefited from the project – receiving education around STIs and contraception use, ante-natal care and the prevention of mother to child HIV transmission.

We are enormously proud of our team for devising the project, applying for and receiving the funding from USAid and delivering the programme so successfully – congratulations on a well deserved award!
